Description
This is a series of snapshots at the Cavalcade of Lights, 26-Nov-2011 in Toronto.
The intent was to get some good photographs. Unfortunately, I has forgotten all the lessons I learned many years ago (the last time I did this was using film) about shooting fireworks. Must do this more often.
All the shots are hand-held as I felt that it was too crowded where i was standing to use a tripod (mandatory tool for fireworks ).
The fire-works snaps were shot at ISO 200 while the people and covert snaps were at 800 and 1600 - way to high for my ancient camera.
Still the light are pretty, the music was good and the company was great. What more can one ask
